The local residents charged were:
Orange County
- On Friday, Nov. 14, State Police troopers in Middletown arrested Roman Zawojski, 24, of Chester, for DWI. He was traveling on East Main Street in Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.
- On Friday, Nov. 14, State Police troopers in Hamptonburgh arrested Jose Flores, 34, of Newburgh, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 9W in Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.
- On Saturday, Nov. 15, State Police troopers in Montgomery arrested Ava Leischen, 27, of Newburgh, for DWI. She was traveling on Leroy Place in Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and she was subsequently arrested.
- On Saturday, Nov. 15, State Police troopers in Montgomery arrested Ahmed Abdelaziz, 39, of Maybrook, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Route 208 in Montgomery when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and he was subsequently arrested. He was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
Dutchess County
- On Saturday, Nov. 15, State Police troopers in Montgomery arrested Priscilla Gonzalez, 25, of Wappingers Falls, for DWI. She was traveling on Route 32 in Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and she was subsequently arrested.
